摘要
对中国英语的系统研究始于20世纪80年代。研究中国英语不仅要重视语言现象,更要关注现象背后深层次的原因。中国英语是在核心语法和词汇的基础上,受汉语语言文化和思维方式的干扰而形成的一种区域性变体。中国英语研究对外语教学有重要的启示和意义。
The systematic study on China English started from 1980s. Not only the linguistic phenomena but also the causes for them should be included in the study. China English is a kind of regional variety which is caused by the combination of English language and Chinese culture without destroying the basic English vocabulary and grammar rules. Furthermore, the writer points out China English studies are bound to be of great significance to English teaching in China.
