浅议大学英语精读课的教学

On the Teaching of College English Intensive Reading

选取大学英语精读课的教学作为研究对象,分析目前大学英语精读课教学存在的问题,探讨教学过程中应注意的几个环节,提出英语教师应结合传统与现代教学理念,加强学习方法的指导,增强教学内容的时代性,以期提高课堂的利用率、改善课堂教学质量。

College English is a required basic course for non-English major students,which accounts for a considerable proportion of higher education.College English intensive reading is chosen as the research object in this article.After a brief introduction of College English Curriculum Requirements and the analysis of the existing problems in intensive reading teaching,some suggestions are put forward to improve the teaching quality through combination of various teaching methods,necessary guiding and extra material added to the textbook by the teachers.
