This paper analyzes and explores some issues about passenger railway line, such as the determination method ot railway roadbed thickness, surface thickness of the subgrade and packing requirements, packing requirements of underlying subgrade and the subgrade, and subgrade conditions and so on, and then discusses the corresponding design requirements in detail, so as to guide the practice.
