This paper describes the unique engineering characteristics of loess, points out some measures of collapsible loess foundation, and dis- cusses the advantages of the dynamic consolidation method in dealing with the collapsible loess roadbed and some issues noted in construction, in order to ensure the loess roadbed construction quality.
