At present, the expected washing effect is difficult to obtain from the programmable control washer because the washing parameters are selected on uses' sensation. To upgrade the current status, automatic washer with fuzzy control is stated. By using optical transducer, the parameters are adjusted automatically. The application principle of the transducer and its interface with the single chip computer are described in detail.
