摘要 本文介绍了一种基于Microsoft Silverlight地理信息系统平台的安装配置和开发方法,该方法通过ESRI公司提供的ArcGIS Server API来调用后台地图服务,具有简洁、高效、实用的特点。构建在Web上的GIS系统相对传统GIS系统具有不可比拟的优势,客户端只需通用浏览器即可实现丰富应用,不但节省了大量的客户端维护费用,而且使得基于GIS的信息应用随处可得,只要接入网络就可以获得所需服务,不再受客户端技术条件的限制,大大提高了各类服务应用的效率和效益。 This article introduces a Web GIS system based on Microsoft Silverlight and ArcGIS Server..It calls map services with API and is simple,efficient and practical.Web GIS is very better than traditional GIS system and the only client is a web browser.It saves a lot of client-side maintenance and provide GIS information everywhere. It make client requirements low and works well.
