Effective Economic Growth and Improvement of Residents' Quality of Life

本文提出了超额人均消费等概念,并以此作为衡量居民主观生活质量的主要指标;进而构建有效经济增长动态模型,从一个全新的视角考察我国改革开放30年来有效经济增长与居民生活质量的提升。研究发现:我国居民生活质量水平与结构显著提升,且提升速度与有效经济增长和谐同步;而超额人均消费贡献率偏低将成为制约我国有效经济增长的重大隐忧。因此,提高消费比例中超额人均消费的比重,优化超额人均消费结构,扩大农村居民的超额人均消费领域等措施,可有效地扩大内需,实现有效经济增长的可持续性与居民生活质量的稳步提升。

This paper brings forward the concept of excessive per- capita con- sumption and takes it as the main measurement index for subjective quality of life of residents. It designs a dynamic model of effective economic growth to study from a brand new aspect the effective economic growth and improvement of quality of life of residents in China in the past 30 years since the reform and opening- up, as well as the relation between them. The results show that the both the level and the structure of the quality of life of residents in China have been remarkable improved, at a rate consistent with effective economic growth. However, the low contribution of excessive per- capita consumption will become a restriction against effective eco- nomic growth in China. Therefore, increasing the proportion of excessive per- ca- pita consumption, optimizing the structure of excessive per - capita consumption and expanding the fields of excessive per - capita consumption of rural residents may help to effectively increase domestic demand and realize sustainable effective eco- nomic growth and stable improvement of residents＇ quality of life.
