物理学能否解释过去与未来的差异?布鲁塞尔-奥斯汀学派认为,时间之矢问题在其理论框架内已经得以解决。然而,鉴于近五十年来布鲁塞尔-奥斯汀学派对称破缺思想的历史演变特征、所存在的问题及关于其时间不对称解释的某些历史反思,特别是最近的论争,布鲁塞尔-奥斯汀学派迄今为止所运用的方法并没有以真正令人信服的方式解决不对称起源及时间之矢问题,至少是在目前的形式上。

Can physics explain the difference between the past and the future？ It is claimed that the problem of the arrow of time in Brussels-Austin School＇s proposals has been solved.After reviewing some features and problems of their time-symmetry breaking thinking during the past fifty years or so and examining some historical views including its more recent debates over their explanations of time asymmetry,however,it is shown that Brussels-Austin School＇s approaches,despite their merits,cannot answer the riddle of the origin of the asymmetry and the direction of time in a really convincing manner,at least in their present form.
