符号政治经济学是鲍德里亚早期文本中的重要思想,是一个在现代工业社会中成立的命题。鲍德里亚认为,在今天的社会中,商品不再作为一种使用价值而存在,同时物也不再作为商品而存在而是作为一种符号而存在,充斥整个世界的不是商品而是符号。鲍德里亚通过对商品使用价值、交换价值、人的需要和商品拜物教的否定,从而彻底否定了马克思的政治经济学。他断言马克思的政治经济学的核心已经发生了本质的变化,要推动政治经济学的发展必须把政治经济学全面推进到符号政治经济学。

The political economy of the sign is an important thought in early Baudrillard text and a proposition in modern industrial society.Baudrillard believes that commodities no longer exist as a value,property no longer exists as a commodity but exists as a symbol,and what the whole world is full of is not goods but signs in today＇s society.He completely negates the Marxist political economy through the negation of commodity use value,exchange value,people＇s needs and commodity fetishism.He asserts that the core of Marx＇s political economy has undergone essential changes,and the promotion of political economy must be fully pushed into the political economy of the sign.
