Automatic Comparative Study of Bullet Traces Based on Wavelet Transform

以自动对比方法的智能性、自动性和可操作性为出发点，以构建弹头特征峰数据库，搭建弹头自动比对系统为目标，对弹头痕迹的自动比对问题展开研究．通过提取弹头痕迹特征线的方法，详细分析了各种影响比对的测量误差，给出了消除误差的方法．提供并实现了一种基于小波变换的比对方案，方案能够有效抑制弹头表面污损产生的噪声误差，并在实验中取得了很好的比对结果．

In this thesis, we first build the characteristic wavelet database for the automatic comparative system of bullet traces. We analyze various impacts of measurement error and correct data to extract characteristic lines of the traces. We provide and implement a wavelet transform method which effectively suppresses the noise and achieves good comparison results in experiments.
