山西太原晋源镇三座唐壁画墓

Three Mural-Painted Tombs of the Tang Dynasty in Jinyuan Town,Shanxi

2001年,太原市文物考古研究所在晋源镇晋阳古城遗址墓葬区内清理了一批古代墓葬,其中3座唐墓为砖室壁画墓。3座墓葬均由墓道、甬道和墓室组成,单室结构,壁画绘于墓室四壁及墓顶,内容有生活场景、树下老人、四神星象等。随葬器物具有唐代早期至盛唐时期的特点,其中温神智墓有开元十八年(730年)纪年墓志,因此3座壁画墓的时代应基本相同。

In the year 2001, a group of ancient tombs were unearthed in the graveyard of the ancient Jinyang City Site in Jinyuan Town. Among them, three mural-painted tombs of the Tang Dynasty were in the same structure. Each was composed of a tomb tunnel, a paved path, and a coffin chamber. Paintings were found on the walls and the roofs of the coffin chambers, including scenes of daily life, an old man under a tree, the four directional animals, and astronomical paintings. The artifacts found in the tombs all show early to High Tang characteristics. In one of the three tombs, an epitaph dated to the eighteenth year of the Kaiyuan Reign （730 C.E.） was found, indentifying the tomb occupant as Wen Shenzhi. This finding impiles a similar date for the other two mural-painted tombs.
