An Introduction to Research on Restoring Chinese Ancient City Form

曾经枯燥单调的古城形态复原研究在当前具有越来越多的现实应用。但是与旅游业、房地产开发等等相联系的应用往往受到利益驱动。因此有必要强调一种科学、严谨、求真的古城复原基础研究。该文从建筑学专业的角度,介绍古城复原研究的基本认识,总结归纳当前国内学者相关研究的方法和成果,最终提出一套研究策略,以推动古城复原工作的正确开展。

The once boring research on restoring ancient city form has seen more and more application in reality.However,such application as related to tourism,or real estate development,always is driven by interests.Therefore it is necessary to address a kind of basic research on restoring ancient city form which should be scientific,rigorous,and pursuing authenticity.From the professional point of view of architecture,this article describes the basic knowledge of the research on restoring ancient city form,summarizes the methods and results of relevant research by the current domestic scholars,and proposes a set of research strategies finally,in order to promoting correct conduction of research works on restoring Chinese ancient city form.
