From IBM headquarters in Zurich to Urban transport offices in Berlin, Max Dudler＇s architecture works never stop pursuit and exploration of rationalism. The Jacob and Wihelm 6rimm Center Library, completed recently, integrates classical aesthetics, rational order and constructing practice into one building. It is rigorous and dialectical design thinking that the vertical grid-like facade form unifies with structure and function inside. Meanwhile, with the application of historical typology and consideration of urban texture, it reveals the humanism in the architecture design. So it may well be the successful masterpiece of Dudler＇s rational construction works.
