Nvzhen Culture’s Influence on the Urban Morphology of Shenyang

本文主要探讨了女真文化对沈阳城市形态的影响以及沈阳作为清代都城的主要形态特征。从而提出了应从无形遗产和有形遗产两方面进行沈阳历史文化名城的保护。

Based on the research of city founded by Nuzhen aristocracy in the early Qing Dynasty, this paper discussed the urban morphological transformation of Shenyang influenced by Nuzhen culture, and offered proposal for better conserving and promoting the spirit of this historical city.
