摘要
Cyclooxygenase-2(COX-2) has a close relationship with carcinogenesis and development of colorectal cancer.More than 80%-90% colorectal cancer shows over-expression of COX-2.The carcinogenic functions of COX-2 include inhibiting apoptosis of tumor cells,enhancing cell adhesion and neoplasm invasiveness,and promoting angiogenesis.The increasing evidence from experiments in vitro and in vivo indicates that regulation of COX-2 is a comprehensive process in the pathogenesis of colorectal cancer.This review discusses the updated investigations on COX-2 regulation at transcriptional and post-transcriptional levels,and related signal axis.
