国家标准中医病证分类与代码简介

A brief introduction to the Classification and Coding of Diseases in Traditional Chinese Medicine(TCM)

科学、完整的疾病分类方法是医疗卫生单位明确疾病诊断，开展科学研究，搞好病案管理，进行医疗卫生统计，加强国际间学术交流所必不可少的，它直接关系着医疗质量和医院管理水平的提高。《中医病证分类与代码》是我国第一个中医疾病分类国家标准，它规定了中医病名及证候的分类原则和编码方法，并已在全国执行。文章对该标准的基本内容与应用研究情况作了简介和综合评价。

The scientific and integrated classification of diseases is indispensable to medical institution for the clarification of disease diagnosis,the conduction of scientific research,the management of medical records, the collection of medical statistics,and the promotion of international academic exchanges. It is directly related to the improvement of the quality of medical services and the level of hospital administration.Classification and Coding of Diseases in TCM,the first national standard in China for the classification of diseases in TCM,stipulates the principle for classifying diseases in TCM and their coding methods. It is being implemented throughout the country. The paper outlines and evaluates in a general way the basic content of the standard and the applied study of it.
