摘要
码率控制算法是视频编码技术中的一个重要组成部分。针对TM5码率控制算法进行了深入详细的探讨,分析了TM5码率控制算法的不足,针对其不足进行了改进。实验结果表明,在JM86中采用改进后的码率控制算法输出缓冲区占用度波动较小,缓冲区堆积比特数较少,编解码系统时延有较大减小,对时延要求很小的图像编解码系统具有很高的实用价值。
Rate control algorithm is an important part of the video coding.TM5 rate control algorithms are researched in detail.Its shortcomings are analyzed and an improved TM5 rate control algorithm is proposed.Experimental results show that the improved rate control algorithm implemented in JM86 has slight impact on the occupation radio of output buffer,with fewer buffer stacking bits,and lower delay on the encoding and decoding system.This improved algorithm has high practical value on the image encoding and decoding system with lower delay.
