摘要
1871年广东神仙粉教案是晚清广东地区重要的教案之一。笔者结合多种历史史料,分析阐述了神仙粉教案的基本过程,并指出了清政府官员在处理神仙粉教案中存在的滥杀百姓以塞责的问题以及原因。同时也用案例事实说明了在历史研究中,不应偏信官方档案材料,而应结合多方史料,通过逻辑分析,才能更接近历史事实真相。
The 'Immortal Power'Religious Case is one of the most important religious cases in Canton in the late Qing Dynasty. Based on varied historical documents, this essay analyses the basic process of the case and makes a statement that some of the officials of Qing Dynasty had committed indiscriminate murders to its citizens to cover their own evils, and the reasons of their doing so. At the same time, by this case, the essay also testifies that to be closer to the historical truth, using varied historical documents with logical thinking has advantages over using mere official archives.
