摘要
阿来的《格萨尔王》对西藏格萨尔王的传奇进行了重述。对这部作品从"重述的困境"、"说唱人的重要性"和"史诗的现代命运"三个方面进行分析可以看出,作者在重述史诗时面临着双重困境,即一方面要保持史诗原有的精神面貌,另一方面要转成小说叙事。小说中说唱人的重要之处恰好可以解决这个矛盾,但阿来和说唱人的重述却向人们昭示了史诗及其重述的现代命运。
A-lai’s King Gesar re-narrates the legend of King Gesar in Tibet,which could be analyzed in three perspectives,including the dilemma of re-narration,the importance of epic narrator and the modern fate of epic. When re-telling the story,A-lai faced two problems：one is to keep the original spirit,and the other is to re-narrate in a novel style. The solution relies on narrator’s narrative. But A-lai and the narrator’s performance of narrating tell the reader about the modern fate of epic King Gesar.
