摘要
文本的修辞建构和读者的认知有着密切关系,文本的语言选择、修辞形态受到读者认知图式的左右,而文本的修辞形态又在一定程度上建构了读者的认知图式。就翻译而言,社会文化语境、诗学传统的差异使隐含于源文本和译本之间的认知图式差异显得更为突出,对翻译文本修辞建构的观察更能反映出认知图式和文本建构的关系。本文运用认知理论,以林译小说《撒克逊劫后英雄略》中三则比喻的修辞设计为语料,探讨认知图式和文本修辞建构的关系。
Rhetorical construction of the text is closely related to schemata. Linguistic and rhetorical choices in a text are very much conditioned by readers' schemata which can also be refreshed by rhetorical forms of a text. In the case of translation, differences in socio-cultural context and poetic tradition between source text and target text set off the schemata incompatibility between readers of the source text and that of the target text, thus translations can reflect more clearly the relationship between schemata and textual construction. This article aims to observe the relationship between schemata and textual construction by analyzing Lin Shu' s translations of two similes and one metaphor from the English novel lvanheo from the perspective of cognitive theory.
