广州市居民急救知识知晓及需求情况调查

Awareness of first-aid knowledge and relevant needs among residents in Guangzhou

目的：了解广州市居民急救知识的知晓情况及其需求情况。方法：采用随机抽样的方法，对广州市783名成年居民进行急救知识认知及需求情况的问卷调查，并进行分析。结果：广州市居民急救电话和烧伤处理的知晓率较高，分别为89．4％（700／783）和93．9％（735／783），而心肺复苏术的知晓率较低，为16．5％（129／783）。53．8％（421／783）的被调查者完全没有接受过急救知识和技能的培训，43．4％（340／783）的被调查者表示非常渴望获得急救知识。按被调查者受教育程度分为本科以上、大专及本科、大专及本科以下3组，3组15项急救知识的总知晓率分别为65．8％、65．0％、40．7％，前2组明显高于大专及本科以下组（均P〈0．05）。结论：广州市居民急救知识知晓度亟待提高，应进行急救知识与技能普及教育提高居民应急自救互救能力。

Objective：To investigate the awareness of first-aid knowledge and relevant needs among Guangzhou residents. Methods：A questionnaire survey on awareness of first-aid knowledge and relevant needs was conducted among a total of 783 Guangzhou adult residents, using a random-sampling approach. The findings were analyzed statistically. Results：Among the interviewed Guangzhou residents, awareness of first-aid knowledge was excellent on emergency calls and treatment of bums, in 89.4% （700/783） and 93.9% （735/783） of the subjects respectively, and was not satisfactory on eardiopulmonary resuscitation, in 16.5 % （129/783） of the subjects. 53.8% （421/783） of the interviewees had not ever been trained on knowledge and techniques about first-aid, and 43.4% （340/783） reported willingness to obtain first-aid knowledge. The total 15 items of first-aid knowledge was appreciated in 65.8% , 65.0% and 40.7% of three education-classified groups of subjects （ above university graduate, university or junior college graduate, below junior college graduate） , with higher percentages of awareness in the first two groups than in the last group （ both P 〈 0.05 ）. Conclusion： There may be a dire need to improve awareness of first-aid among Guangzhou residents. Promotion and training on first-aid as well as education for improved self-aid/mutual-aid ability among Guangzhou residents should be instituted.
