Preparation of Iron Oxide Hydroxide and Its Catalytic Activity

摘要 介绍了制备2种氢氧化氧铁催化剂的方法,即将FeCl_3溶液快速滴加至NaOH溶液中,制备了催化剂FeO(OH)-A,将NaOH溶液快速滴加至FeCl_3溶液中,制备了催化剂FeO(OH)-B。用X-射线衍射仪对所制备的2种催化剂进行表征,结果表明,两者均为无定形FeO(OH)。分别将这2种催化剂用于水合肼还原硝基苯反应,结果表明,FeO(OH)-A的催化活性高于FeO(OH)-B,其原因是FeO(OH)-A的比表面积大于FeO(OH)-B的表面积,FeO(OH)-A结构更稳定,其重复使用性也好于FeO(OH)-B。 Two methods for preparing iron oxide hydroxide catalysts were introduced. FeO(OH) -A catalyst was prepared by dropping FeCl3 solution quickly to sodium hydroxide solution, and FeO (OH) - B catalyst was prepared by dropping sodium hydroxide solution quickly to FeCl3 solution. The two catalysts were characterized by X - ray diffraction and the result showed that they were all amorphous. The two catalysts were used to catalyze the reduction of nitrobenzene with hydrazine hydrate and FeO (OH) - A showed higher activity than FeO(OH) -B mainly due to its larger surface area. Furthermore, FeO (OH) -A showed better reusability than FeO(OH) -B due to its higher stability.
