以原子半径和电负性表征镁基非晶形成能力 被引量:6

A glass forming ability indicator of Mg-based metallic glasses using atomic radius and electronegativity

摘要 研究非晶形成能力表征参数,便于开发高非晶形成能力合金。针对镁基块体非晶合金,基于组元原子半径差参数σ和电负性参数Δx对合金结晶过程的影响,提出表征其非晶形成能力的新参数τ=Δxσ,将其表征有效性与目前文献报道的其他表征参数进行对比。线性回归模型分析表明,新参数与临界制备尺寸的拟合程度优于其他表征参数,用τ表征镁基合金非晶形成能力更可靠。与其他参数相比,τ受实验影响小,具有计算简单和稳定性高的特点。 Research on indicators for the glass forming ability is helpful to develop new bulk metallic glasses. Based on the effects of the electronegativity difference (Δx) and the atomic size mismatch (σ) on the crystallization process, the indicator, τ=Δxσ, was used to assess the glass forming ability of Mg-based bulk metallic glasses. Linear regression analysis shows that the fitting degree of this parameter with the critical formation size is better than other indicators. Comparisons with other indicators also show that this indicator features higher computational stability and simple calculation.
