Difficulties in producing 1.9 tex pure cotton yarn, spinning methods,processing parameter setting and adopted measures in selecting spinning components were introduced. It is pointed out that it is very hard to produce pure cotton combed 1.9 tex yarn, spinning method of carrier spinning, double combed and compact spinning were adopted, spinning processing was selected correctly, speed, weight per unit, package size, gauge, tension draft and twist factor were set properly, roller, rubber-cov- ered roll and guide were optimized, temperature and humidity were controlled strictly, delicacy management was implemented, finally 1.9 tex yarn could be spun successfully,the quality could reach high elastic fabric demands.
