本文回顾了嘉业堂藏书楼藏书的聚积和散失过程,说明近代私人藏书积聚的不易和散失的无奈,同时也说明了嘉业堂主人刘承干为传承中国传统文化而作出的积极贡献。

The paper reviews the collection and losing of books in Jiayetang Library,which shows the difficulties of private collection and helplessness in modern times as well as the contribution of Liu Chenggan,owner of Jiayetang Library to the inheriting of traditional Chinese culture.
