Effects of N-acetylcysteine on Growth Performance and Plasma Biochemical Indices of Lipopolysaccharide Challenged Piglets

摘要 本文旨在研究N-乙酰半胱氨酸(NAC)对脂多糖(LPS)应激仔猪生长性能及血浆生化指标的影响。选取来源一致、平均体重(11.58±0.26)kg的24头健康仔猪,随机分成2组,每组6个重复,每重复2头仔猪。试验分2个阶段,第1~9天对照组饲喂基础饲粮,试验组饲喂在基础饲粮中添加500mg/kgNAC。试验第10~20天分别将2个组同一重复猪中1头分出单独饲养,于第10天、第13天和第20天,1头仔猪腹膜下注射100mg/kgLPS,另一头仔猪注射等体积生理盐水。结果显示:1)饲粮中添加NAC可以缓解LPS刺激导致的日增重下降(P<0.05);2)饲粮中长时间添加NAC能极显著提高仔猪血浆谷胱甘肽水平(P<0.01),显著提高血浆超氧化物歧化酶活性(P<0.05),显著提高血浆表皮生长因子水平(P<0.05)。由此可见,饲粮中添加NAC可缓解LPS应激导致的抑制仔猪生长。 This experiment was conducted to study the effects of dietary supplementation with N-acetylcysteine(NAC)on growth performance and plasma biochemical indices of piglets challenged by lipoplysaccharide(LPS).Twenty-four healthy piglets with the same genetic origin and similar body weight(11.58±0.26)kg were randomly allotted to 2 groups with 6 replicates per group and 2 piglets per replicate.The experiment lasted for 20 days.In the first 1~9 days,piglets in the control group were fed with basal diet and the others were fed with basal diet supplemented with 500 mg/kg NAC;in the next 10~20 days,one piglet of each replicate was fed alone and injected with 100 mg/kg LPS on the 10th,13th and 20th day of the experiment,respectively,whereas the other one was injected with the same volume of sterile saline.The results showed that 1)dietary supplementation of NAC significantly relieved growth depression in piglets challenged by LPS(P0.05);2)dietary long-term supplementation with NAC increased the level of glutathione in plasma(P0.01),and significantly increased the levels of plasma superoxide dismutase and EGF(P0.05).The results above suggest that dietary supplementation with 500 mg/kg NAC could relieve the growth depression in piglets challenged by LPS.
