摘要
同步捕获是超宽带(UWB)通信面临的主要难题之一。"脏模板"(TDT)同步捕获算法十分适合UWB系统,在数据辅助(DA)模式下它具有低复杂度和快速捕获的特点。但是,在无数据辅助(NDA)的模式下,它的性能就要取决于系统随机信号的干扰。因此,分析利用正交Hermite脉冲的方法来解决这个问题。算法采用一串交替的正交Hermite脉冲来调制要发送的信号,并对原TDT算法进行了相应的修改来实现同步。该方法无需训练序列,在NDA模式下能够达到良好的性能。理论分析仿真结果表明,算法在均方误差(MSE)上跟传统TDT算法相比有较好改善。
Timing acquisition is one of the major challenges in ultra-wideband communications. The timing with dirty template approach is an attractive technique for UWB systems. It is characterized by low complexity and fast acquisition in the data-aided mode. However, in the non-data-aided mode, the effect of this approach is poor. In this paper, the algorithm with orthogonal Hermite pulses is proposed to overcome this problem. The proposed algorithm uses a train of alternating orthogonal Hermite pulses to modulate the transmitted symbols, and by modifying the original TDT algorithm, realizes the synchronization. This approach shows a good performance in NDA mode. Theoretical analysis and simulation results show that this algorithm has fairly better performance improvement as compared with the original TDT in terms of the mean square error.
