摘要
本文采用英语专业八级口头评论语料库,讨论中国英语专业高年级学生口头评论中话语标记语的使用特点。研究发现口头评论中话语标记语的频次与口头评论的质量密切相关,且高、低分组的学生在使用标记语的数量和类型上有很大区别。英语专业学生想要提高口语水平,需要在话语标记语的正确与灵活使用上下功夫。
This paper adopted part of the transcription materials of the third part discussion on a given topic in TEM 8 oral test as the research corpus in order to elaborate general features of the usage of discourse markers in the advanced English learners in China.It is found that the frequency of discourse markers in the discussion correlates with the quality of the oral output.In addition,the quantity and type of discourse markers also have profound influence on the quality of the oral product.The English majors need to pay more attention to the correct and flexible usage of discourse markers in order to improve the quality of discussion on a given topic.
