Dominant Resources and Leading Exploitative Function of the Silty Harbour Coast in the Middle and Southern Zhejiang Province

根据浙江中南部大港湾至隘顽湾海域的环境条件及其优势资源,阐明了该海域的四大主导开发功能:海水养殖、围涂造地、海洋捕捞、滨海旅游,探讨了保持海洋经济持续发展的对策.

The coast from the Dagang Bay to the Aiwan Bay belongs to the silty harbour coast , which is located in the middle and southern Zhejiang Province . It contains abundant resources such as tidal flat , marine life , harbour , tourism , salt industry , marine energy , etc . But on the whole the former four kinds of resources are more dominant than others . In view of the environmental conditions and dominant resources , it is sure that the leading exploitative functions of this coast should be mariculture , reclamation , marine fishing and coastal tourism . In order to realize the functions and keep the ocean economy developing sus-tainably , measures should be taken as follows: (1) Speeding up the mariculture so as to promote simutaneous development of mariculture and marine fishing. (2) Accelerating the processing of marine aquatic products by using up -to -date techniques and rainforcing their circulation with the aim of giving impetus to fishery industrialization . (3) The fresh reclaimed tidal flat should be utilized comprehensively so that it can bring the potentiality into full play . (4) Strengthening the exploitation and protection of the tourist resources and making the coastal tourism to be the newly increasing point of the economy . (5) Protecting the marine ecological enviroment strictly in order to make sustainable use of marine resources.
