Uygur Medicine Brief Introduction

具有独特基础理论和丰富临床经验的维吾尔医药历史悠久。本文对维吾尔医药的形成、发展作了简要概述,指出其形成、发展过程中受到阿拉伯、古希腊医药,尤其是中医药学的影响,是中国传统医药和维吾尔优秀传统文化的重要组成部分。维吾尔医药与传统中医药交融发展,彼此互补,与其它民族医药共同组成了体系完整庞大的中华医药。

This article aims to give a brief introduction to the long-standing Uygur Medicine, which has its own basic theories and abundant clinical experience. It advocates that, in the process of its formation and development, Uygur Medicine has been affected by Arabic, ancient Greek, and especially Chinese pharmacy, hence an important part of traditional Chinese medicine and outstanding Uygur culture. Through blending, exchange and mutual complementation with traditional Chinese medicines, Uygur and other medicines cultivated by different ethnic groups have formed the bulky and complete system of Chinese medicine.
