摘要
离散元素法(DEM)是求解与分析离散系统的运动规律与力学特性的一种新型数值方法。目前,DEM已初步拓展至工业过程分析与工业产品设计领域。针对DEM仿真的特点,尝试性分析了DEM在工业过程分析与产品设计中应用的特征,探讨了DEM在工业过程分析与产品设计仿真应用的分类,讨论了DEM工业应用中面临的问题及挑战。
Discrete element method(DEM) is currently being applied in the industries that involve the operation and process of particles.Aiming at the application of DEM in the industrial process analysis and product design,the characteristics of the DEM simulation were analyzed,the fields and its classification of industrial applications of DEM were introduced,and the problems and challenges that face the DEM application were discussed.
