The paper discussed the possibility and benefit of cleaner production in electroplate industries.With point of view of the environmental impact assessment（EIA）,the distinctive evaluation index system and the method of evaluation was put forward based on the typical cases of the Pearl River Delta.Finally,the paper offered some prearrangements of cleaner production on electroplate industry for reference.
