《葬花吟》7种英译本的人称视角和时态比读——《红楼梦》英译本研究之四

汉诗注重简约,汉语读者往往比较容易推断出语境含义,而人称代词的省略也给读者留下更多想象的空间。《葬花吟》7种英译本的译者根据自己的文化素养和审美习惯,采用不同的人称视角进行翻译,从而形成了译诗意境的不同;古汉语中没有动词的时态,而7位译者却使用了不同的时态,以反映译诗中内容的时间差异,从而再现情感的变化。

Chinese poems focus on concise,which makes it easy for Chinese readers to deduce the contextual meaning.The omission of personal pronouns leaves room for readers to imagine.The seven translators of Elegy on Flowers translate the poem according to their own cultural accomplishments and tastes,giving different artistic conceptions to each poem.Ancient Chinese haven't tense.The seven translators have to use tense to translate difference in time and feeling.
