成人教育在西部少数民族地区发展中的困境及对策

Difficulties and Strategies of Adult Education Development in Western Regions of Minority Peoples

成人教育是构建少数民族和谐社会富有建设性的举措,是影响这些地区综合发展的重要因素。西部少数民族地区经济发展滞后,地理环境恶劣,办学条件较差,文化背景不同,这些因素制约了成人教育的发展。基于此,政府和社会各界应积极支援西部少数民族地区的建设,为成人教育的发展创设条件,同时西部少数民族地区的成人也应积极主动参加学习,促进成人教育在该地区的顺利发展。

One of the approaches to constructing a harmonious society of minority peoples lies in the adult education,which is regarded as one of the crucial factors determining the comprehensive development of these areas.However,this kind of education is still not adequately developed due to problems such as lagging behind regional economy,geographically and materially unfavorable condition,and cultural differences etc.In view of this,to facilitate the development of adult education in those territories,on the one hand,governments and communities at all levels should provide more support,and build up better infrastructures;on the other hand,minority adults should also take the initiative to actively participate in the learning process.
