The optical communication in power system as an important part of power system plays an important role in communication,remote,relay protection,office automation and many other aspects.This paper,taking OPGW cable as an example,illustrates the application of optical communication technology in high voltage power network by presenting high-voltage electrical communication breakdown case analysis and processing method and high-voltage network example.
