摘要
在氩气保护下用高能球磨和粉末烧结法制备了Mn1.18Cr0.02Fe0.8P0.95-xGexSi0.05(x=0.245,0.250,0.255,0.260)系列化合物。通过X射线衍射和磁性测量研究了样品的物相结构和磁热效应。该系列化合物结晶为Fe2P型六角结构,少量Si的添加有利于稳定Fe2P型相。热磁曲线显示该系列化合物没有热滞或具有很小的热滞。该系列化合物的居里温度随Ge含量的增加而升高,在0~1.5 T磁场下,最大等温磁熵变约为8J/kg.K。结果说明该系列化合物具有良好的室温磁热效应。
A series of Mn1.18Cr0.02Fe0.8P0.95-xGexSi0.05(x= 0.245,0.250,0.255,0.260) compounds were prepared by high-energy ball milling and solid state reaction under argon atmosphere.The structure and magnetocaloric effect in the compounds were investigated by means of X-ray diffraction and magnetic measurements.The investigated compounds crystallize in the Fe2P-type hexagonal structure,and addition of a small amount of Si is of benefit to stabilizing the Fe2P-type structure.The magnetic measurements showed that the series of compounds have very low thermal hysteresis for x=0.250,0.255 and 0.260 and even no thermal hysteresis for x=0.245.The Curie temperature of the compounds increases with increasing Ge contents.The maximal magnetic entropy change is around 8J/kg.K for a magnetic field change from 0 to 1.5 T.These compounds exhibit excellent room-temperature magnetocaloric properties.
