This article summarizes Professor WU Ke-ming clinical experience in the pathogenesis and mechanism of hypomenorrhea and shows 4 pathogenesis including contraception,emotions,diet and environmental factors,and major mechanisms including kidney essence and qi deficiency,impairment of Chong and Ren Channels,empty blood sea,small blood of uterus,or Qi and blood deficiency and liver-Qi stagnancy,or accumulation of phlegm-dampness,which is a syndrome with deficiency Ben and excessive Biao.Chinese medicine can play obvious advantage.
