The enhancement effectiveness of cationic surfactant,DTAC,for analytic sensitivity on determination of molybdenum in flame atomic absorption spectrometry is studied.The absorption can be enhanced by 44.5% and interference of coexisting elements can also be eliminated with 10gL-1dodecyltrimethylammonium chloride under the best condition of instrument and suitable acid existing.An ideal method is presented to determine molybdenum in alloy steels with molybdenum content over 0.29%. \=
