摘要
新诗的草创是在白话语言和写实方法两个维度上展开的。前者的革命性无庸置疑,后者的选择却有其吊诡之处:这一来自传统的方法被新诗设计者们借重为反传统的利器,也摇身一变为革命性话语。写实的高张,首先是一种受限于现代白话语言成熟程度的自然选择,但它在进化论的语境下被西方文学思潮谱系中的现实主义所收编从而赋予了现代性内涵,于是又成为一种新诗实验者们的主体选择。新诗的尝试乃至成功都与对现实主义精神与方法的现代性认知相关。
Chinese new poems develop in two dimensions; vernacular language and realistic method. The revolutionary nature of the former is undoubted, yet the appearance of the latter is bizarre. The realistic method, basically traditional, was employed as a weapon against the tradition and in turn got merged into revolutionary discourse. First, the upsurge of realistic methods is the natural selection constrained by the maturity degree of modern vernacular language. Then in the context of evolutionism, it is incorporated by the realism in Western literature and is endowed with the connotation of modernity, turning into new poems experimenters' subjective choice. The attempt and success of new poems are related to the understanding of the modernity of the realistic principles and methods.
