The paper describes the key technigues which are related in the course of the intelligent equipment development.Then the intelligent equipment available is classified into switches,substation automation devices and electronic power devices and their development state are analyzed.Finally,the paper points out that the firm and intelligent grid will become a develepment trend of our country′s grid and the intelligent equipment will be a long-standing problem in improving the body and increasing the attchments of two research lines.
