慢行道系统是美国从满足国民户外休闲需求角度出发,在国土区域内建立的网络,强调历史文化、自然和游憩资源的保护和利用。本文回顾了美国慢行道系统产生的背景与发展历程,阐述了其概念内涵,讨论了慢行道系统总体规划的步骤、内容及管理体系,最后对其在中国的发展与应用提出了相关建议。
Trails system in America is a nationwide network which aims to fulfill people＇s recreational need.It also emphasizes the protection of nature resources and culture heritage.The concept of trails system has been developed based on the high value of outdoor recreation since the press of＂Trails for America＂.This article discusses some major aspects in plan process：the management of national trails system and the main content of comprehensive plan.Finally,the author provides some suggestions for the application of trails system in China.
