摘要
杜鹃属是杜鹃花科中最大的一个属,对湖南地区杜鹃属植物分类研究简史和适应性进行了简述,报道了湖南杜鹃属植物2新记录种:团叶杜鹃Rhodedendron orbiculare、岩谷杜鹃Rhododendron rupivalleculatum。
Rhododendron is the biggest genus of Ericaceae.The early and modern taxonomic researches of Rhododendron genus and its cultivation adaptability in Hunan were summarized.Two new recorded species of the genus Rhododendron are reported for the first time from Hunan Province.They are Rhodedendron orbiculare and Rhododendron rupivalleculatum.
