国内外经济学界广为流传的一种观点认为:假冒伪劣存在的根本原因是信息不对称。这种观点是很值得讨论的。实际上在信息对称的情况下,仍然存在着许多假冒伪劣现象。信息不对称并不是假冒伪劣存在的根本原因。

There is a widespread view in both domestic and foreign economists that the root cause for fake and inferior products is information asymmetry. As a matter of fact, such view is questionable. Even in the case of information symmetry, there are still numerous fake and inferior products. Therefore, information asymmetry is not the root cause for fake and inferior products.
