欠发达地区对外开放与经济发展相关因素研究——以贵州对外贸易、FDI为例的实证分析

Research on the Related Factors of the Opening and the Economic Development in the Less-developed Areas of China——An Empirical Analysis based on Foreign Trade and FDI of Guizhou

在经济全球化的背景下,中国东、中、西部的经济开放程度存在很大差异。在分析区域发展的巨大差异时,对外贸易和吸引国外直接投资构成地区对外开放的重要经济指标。通过选取具有典型意义的贵州数据(1980—2009年)进行实证分析发现:欠发达地区对外贸易和FDI对其经济增长的影响不显著,说明欠发达地区的经济发展在很大程度上受对外贸易和FDI的制约。因此,欠发达地区要加快经济发展,还应将把进一步提高对外开放水平和经济增长质量作为重要战略决策。

In the background of economic globalization, there is a big difference among east central and west China in terms of the economic opening level. Foreign trade and attracting foreign direct investment form the main economic indicators when analyzing the huge differences among regional development. By selecting the typical data of Guizhou （ 1980 - 2009 ） and conducting an empirical analysis, the findings are the following： the effect of foreign trade and FDI on its economic growth in the less-developed areas is not very clear; to a large extent, the economic development in the less-developed areas is constrained by the foreign trade and FDI. Therefore, to speed up the economic development, the less-developed areas still need to regard further enhancing the level of opening up and improving the quality and quantity of economic growth as an important strategic decision.
