Improving the building of staff and constructing Openg University

《国家中长期教育改革和发展规划纲要》指出:"办好开放大学","大力发展现代远程教育,建设以卫星、电视和互联网等为载体的远程开放继续教育及公共服务平台,为学习者提供方便、灵活、个性化的学习条件"。多年来,广播电视大学用自己这个传统的名称,一直在履行开放大学的职能;面临新的形势和任务,为实现《国家中长期教育改革和发展规划纲要》提出的办好开放大学这一战略性任务,又正在发挥着办好开放大学的功能作用。站在这一新的起点,用新的标准要求,进一步加强教师、技术和管理人员"三支队伍"建设,有着更为重要和深远的意义。

The Educational Reform and Development Plan Outline for Medium and Long Term pointed out that we should ＂constructing open university＂ and ＂developing modern distance education,building up distance open continuation education and public servieces platform which based on satellite、TV and internet in order to provide convenient、flexible and characteristic learning conditions＂.Radio TV universities have using the traditional name to fulfill the duty of open universities for years.They facing new situation and tasks,they developing functions of constructing open universities which proposed by The Educational Reform and Development Plan Outline for Medium and Long Term.Stands in the new beginning,using new standard to strengthen teachers、technician and managers construction have more important significance.
