摘要
英语口语的教学目的是培养学生用英语进行口头表达的能力。具体体现为学生的英语语音能力、用词造句的能力、成段表达的能力和言语交际能力。虽然经过了较系统的语言学习,仍有部分高年级同学难以运用英语进行准确、得体的交流。教材的选择、学习者自身的素质、教育现状和教学手段是影响学生口语学习的重要因素。作者认为,强化学习者的语言基本功,培养其口语表达的兴趣及良好的心理素质,重视学习者成段表达能力的训练和语用能力的培养以及建立有效的考核机制是高年级同学英语口语学习关键所在。
The purpose of oral English teaching is to foster students'verbal ability in English,which involves such as in phonetics,diction,and in expression by paragraph and communicative competence.After a period of systematic training,some students still have im-propriety in English communication.The factors which influence oral English learners are the choice of teaching materials,the learners'o-verall quality and the educational conditions in China.The pivoted points for senior students are as follows: intensive training of learners ' basic skills of language learning,developing their interests of oral expression,cultivating their good psychological quality,emphasis on training of their ability of expression by paragraph and their pragmatic competence,the establishment of effective oral English checkup sys-tem.
