由光体和光芒构成的太阳纹是最早出现于铜鼓上的最基本的装饰纹样,是鼓面装饰中最重要、最醒目的图案,也是唯一贯穿于铜鼓历史始终的纹样。它原本是浇铸铜鼓时留下的疤痕,后经少数民族先民艺术化的处理,并结合太阳崇拜,最终形成了太阳纹的基本概念与内涵。此外,它作为礼器,还是权利与地位的象征。

Bronze drum is the precious ethnic historical and cultural heritage passed over by ancient ethnic predecessors.The pattern of Sun is the earliest basic decoration patterns on the bronze drum.They are the most important and obvious pattern on the surface of drum and is the only pattern exist in the history of drum.Originally they the scars left over after casting after artistic treatment by the predecessors,combined with their worship of Sun,finally constructing the basic concept and connotation of pattern of Sun.Besides,they are the symbols of power and social position as the instrument of sacrifices.
