当前,在爱国主义教育中还存在一些关于美化历史的误区。这些误区的产生有其历史自身的原因和自身历史的原因,实际上都是违背历史唯物主义的,它不尊重历史,给爱国主义教育带来了不良后果。所以,在爱国主义教育中,要坚持以马克思主义唯物史观为指导,还原历史的客观感、把握历史的整体感、赋予历史以时代感。

Currently, there exist some misunderstandings in patriotic education. It has brought forth adverse consequences.
