胡锦涛的统一战线思想是对马克思主义统一战线理论的继承、发展和创新。近年来,学者们对胡锦涛的统一战线思想进行了系统、综合、详细的论证和研究,从其对前人统一战线理论的继承关系、思想内容、特点及特色、提出的背景条件、独到的创新之处、历史地位和作用以及胡锦涛对统一战线的作用和领导权的论述、对党的民族理论政策、多党合作理论政策、台港澳侨工作理论政策的解读等等方面入手,全面深入地对胡锦涛的统一战线思想做出了概括和分析。

Hu Jin-tao＇s United Front thought is an inheritance and innovation to Marxist United Front theory. In recent years, scholars has carried out a systematic, comprehensive, detailed argument and research in connection with Hu＇s United Front thought. Moreover, in order to summarize and analyze this topic, they has explored it with an all-round and thorough way, and Hu＇s discourse on the function and leadership of United Front. Hu＇s thought has not only summed up predeeessor＇s United Front thought on theorical inheritance relationship, content, features, characteristics, proposing background, unique innovative and historical status, but also showed his own illumination in CPC national policy, multi-party cooperation theory, working guidlines in Taiwan, Hang Kong and Macao affairs, etc.
