我国地方基础教育发展状况综合评估

The Comprehensive Assessment of China's Local Basic Education

在构建地方基础教育发展评价指标体系的基础上,利用主成分分析和聚类分析法,对我国地方基础教育的发展进行了综合评估。实证结果显示,地方基础教育发展水平普遍不高,区域间教育发展失衡的状况比较严重。东、中、西部地区基础教育发展的失衡是全方位的,中部和西部地区不仅在教育规模上与东部地区存在较大差距,而且在教育水平上也远远落后于东部地区。同时指出,政府应加大地方基础教育投入,特别是中西部地区的教育投入,以期尽早缩小区域间教育发展的不均衡程度。

In this paper,we use the principal component analysis and cluster analysis to assess the development of China＇s local basic education comprehensively,based on building of local development evaluation index system of basic education.The empirical results show that the level of development of local basic education is generally not high,and inter-regional imbalances in development of education are more serious.The imbalance in the development of basic education of eastern,central and western regions is comprehensive.The central and western regions,not only in the scale of education with the substantial gap between the eastern region,but also in the level of education are also far behind the eastern region.At the same time,the Government should increase the local infrastructure investment in local basic education,especially in central and western regions,in order to reduce the imbalance between the levels of educational development as soon as possible.
